details of death Refused to preach in German to his Polish parishioners. Arrested on 13.10.1939. Jailed in Starogard Gd. prison where a Germans cut a nazi swastika on his forehead and smashed his arms: „he is moving blindly towards our group blowing from mouth, to wipe the blood, oozing from his wounds and drenching his eyes and face”. At the execution site 30 battered priests were ordered to take off their shoes and climb down — in fours — into a ditch. The first had to lie down with their hands folded on foreheads or on the ground, the following were forced to lie down on the bloodied bodies of co religious. Then they were shot into the base of the neck. Those that survived initial shooting were massacred with rifle butts.

Urspünglich erfasste Hyperlinks wurden z.T. geändert, deshalb werden etliche der einmal gefundenen Personen beim erneuten Versuch nicht mehr angezeigt!! Einige Personen, insbesondere die Eltern einer Familie, wurden bei Ancsestry und FamilySaerch mehrfach, entsprchend der Anzahl der Kinder erfasst und bekamen bei jedem Kind besondere Ident-Nummern. Diese wurden in 'Kuchenbecker-Ahnen' nicht durchgehend übernommen.

Einige nachweislich falsche Angaben wurden trotz der entsprechenden Hinweise nicht geändert, z.B. Transkriptionsfehler von Namen und falsche Familienzugehörigkeiten.
